SUMMARY

ISBN Lookup is a handy tool for getting book information based on the ISBN. One application of ISBN Lookup is for maintaining a book inventory. For each book in your collection enter (or scan) the ISBN. At this point, ISBN queries the Web for the info (it will take ~5-10 seconds based on your bandwidth). If the ISBN is found, its info will be added to the book list.

ISBN Lookup works well with the CueCat. CueCat is an inexpensive (~$15) USB scanner. To enter a book in the system simply scan the book barcode and hit enter.

Currently, ISBN Lookup uses the 10 character ISBN number.

ISBN Lookup requires a live Internet connection and it will talk to remote sites in order to lookup book information. It does NOT contain spyware.
